Electric Retracts - Large Mains (Metal)

Electric retracts remove all the hassle normally associated with air retract plumbing or getting a mechanical linkage to fit exactly. The retract set includes two retract units that are designed to accept 10mm wire legs and is suitable for models with a maximum weight of 20kg.

These retracts can be used in both electric and engine powered models. They are designed to primarily use the power supplied through the receiver. This can come from the battery in the case of engine models, or a BEC system in electric models. If you use heavier wheels/legs or have lots of drag on the leg doors, then current consumption is increased. If you have any doubt of the power available then you can use a separate battery supply for the retracts using one of the special 'Y' leads.

Each unit has built-in over-current protection. If the leg is stopped in any way during movement, or the load is too high to protect the retract from damaging or drawing too much current.
