Kontronik PYRO 850-40L Brushless Motor 276101
Already its size makes the new PYRO 800/850 impressive: an outside diameter of 63 mm and a shaft diameter of 8 mm suggest the enormous power of the latest KONTRONIK motor. A new design includes bigger ball bearings and a screw-fixed motor can.
This allows without any problem in 800 class helicopters, scale and 3D helicopters.
The new line is completed by the PYRO 850-24 which is perfectly designed for F3A applications. Having the same diameter, the PYRO 850 only differs 5 mm in length of the stator compared to the PYRO 800.
high-quality Neodym material has been used for the magnets – heat resistible up to 150 °C.
The winding has been made of an extremely heat resistant copper wire normally used by the aerospace industry. This wire can be stressed up to 300 °C.
The rotating can additionally gets a precise balancing making the thin section bearing unnecessary.
Adapted design for the stator
Perfected air stream through the motor and a radial internal cooling.
Optimized magnetic circuit.
